As I posted here in my Facebook status I was not really interested in watching CATS as I had seen it twice before and twice I fell asleep..once in Broadway and once in the West End... but this afternoon I get a text from Rob Chien (Lea's hub) saying he had tickets to CATS for me and Joanna (Ampil). Unfortunately Jo wasn't free tonight but I was. So Rob saw it with me.
I have to say I was entertained by this production. Directed by Jo Anne Robinson with a passion that shows in this Manila production..
You have to try and catch this world class musical.
Please extend my congratulations to Ms. Lea for a great singing performance. Her rendition of "Memory" while in character was of a much higher level! My personal review is posted here: http://3xhcch.multiply.com/journal/item/468 .
